Szevasztok!
Július 14-én alkalmunk volt meglátogatni a La Spezia nevű olasz városban található Senza Confini szervezetet. Az interjúnkat Niccolò Icheste-val, az egyesület elnökével forgattuk, de beszélgethettünk az egyesületet támogató és elindító szervezet (Mondo Aperto) elnökével is, Florentina Stefandhi-val.
A napot egy hosszú buszúttal kezdtük el, Nizzából először Genovába mentünk, ahol az átszállásra várva elfogyasztottunk egy-egy kávét és croissant, majd a következő buszunkkal La Speziába érve elfoglaltunk a szállásunkat. Ezek után Niccoló autóval elvitt minket a szervezet irodájához, út közben pedig mesélt nekünk egy kicsit a városról és a munkájukról.
A szervezet neve (Senza Confini) egyébként az olasz “határok nélkül” kifejezésből származik, hiszen ez írja le az egyesület gondolkodásmódját a legjobban.
A két szervezet a város több területén is aktívan tevékenykedik a város javításán és a lakóközösség építésén. Egyik ilyen többször is visszatérő kezdeményezésük volt a ‘Dicci La Tua’ nevű jó gyakorlat, mely során a szervezet által készített postaládákba a lakók kéréseket, kívánságokat írhattak a város javításával kapcsolatban.
A szervezet egyik fő profilja a különböző korosztályok oktatásának segítése, erre van kialakítva számos “tanterem” az egyesület irodájának épületében.
Ezek mellett nem szokványos tanítási módszereket is alkalmaznak a mentális egészség, digitális tudatosság és befogadás területein.
A Senza Confini számos, Európában széles körben elterjedt projekt résztvevője, ilyen például az Erasmus+, az ESC vagy akár a CERV.
A szervezet megismerése nagyon izgalmas volt, és csodaszépen berendezett és díszített termeket és szobákat láthattunk az irodájukban. Egy újabb fuvarral ezután bejutottunk a városba, ahol szintén szét tudtunk kicsit nézni, ki tudtunk menni a tengerpartra, ahol a kikötő mellett elfogyasztottuk a vacsoránkat.

Hello everyone!
On July 14th, we had the opportunity to visit the organization Senza Confini, located in the Italian city of La Spezia. We recorded our interview with Niccolò Icheste, the president of the association, and we also had the chance to speak with Florentina Stefandhi, the president of Mondo Aperto, the organization that supported and launched the association.
We kicked off the day with a long but scenic bus journey. Our first stop was Genoa, where we had a short layover. While waiting for our next connection, we treated ourselves to a coffee and a croissant—just enough to recharge before hitting the road again. The second leg of our trip took us to La Spezia. Once we arrived, we made our way to the accommodation and got settled in. Shortly after, Niccolò picked us up by car and took us to the organization’s office. Along the way, he shared some interesting insights about the city and gave us an introduction to the work they do there.
The name Senza Confini comes from the Italian phrase meaning “without borders,” which perfectly captures the mindset of the association.
Both organizations are actively involved in improving the city and building community in several areas of La Spezia. One of their recurring initiatives is a best practice called Dicci La Tua, during which residents could write their requests and suggestions related to improving the city and place them in special mailboxes created by the organization.
One of the main focuses of the organization is supporting education for various age groups. For this purpose, several “classrooms” have been set up in the association’s office building.
In addition, they use unconventional teaching methods in areas such as mental health, digital awareness, and inclusion.
Senza Confini is also a participant in numerous widely recognized European programs, such as Erasmus+, the ESC, and CERV.
Getting to know the organization was truly exciting. Their office was filled with beautifully decorated rooms and thoughtfully arranged spaces—it felt warm, welcoming, and full of character. Afterwards, we got another ride into the city, which gave us the chance to explore a bit. We even made it down to the seafront, where we enjoyed our dinner next to the harbor, with the sound of the waves and the evening lights creating a perfect end to the day.
We had the chance to meet some truly amazing people during our afternoon there — thank you so much for the opportunity!
